Chairman and CEO
BIO : Stefano Solferini is Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Marco Polo, an international independent corporate advisory firm that helps entrepreneurs and CEOs 10X their business valuation by getting clear on strategy, scaling, funding, and selling for maximum price.
Stefano adds value to clients by giving offering tools, strategies, roadmaps and accountability yo 10X business valuation that come with over 25 years as a Founder, CEO, business builder, private equity CEO, investment banker, strategy consultant. He has built global businesses from scratch.
Prior to founding Marco Polo, he worked as Asia Pacific Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Accenture, CEO of Lidis Private Equity, CEO of Nucleus Global Infrastructure which he built from scratch to an international asset management group funded by a global institution. He was a portfolio manager of the award winning Australian Equities fund UBS, a banking analyst at Citi and a strategy consultant at Accenture.
Stefano helps clients scale globally as he has a very deep understanding of the USA, EMEA and Asia Pacific markets. He is a global executive born in Italy, grew up in UK and moved to Australia as a springboard to understand Asia deeply. He has studied worked and lived in the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.
Stefano has served on the Board of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Australia, on the ICT Board of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, and is active on several business chambers.
He holds an undergraduate degree and an M.B.A. with Scholarship from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and Manchester Business school. He studied at the J.L. Kellogg School of Management, Northewstern University, as part of his M.B.A.
Stefano speaks five European Languages and can connect with many cultures.
He has volunteered for Children’s hospitals and orphanages in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam.
